Learn the secrets of freediving, your natural physiological adaptations and effective mindfulness techniques. This will be a journey of fun, play and underwater surrender in stunning island waters.
Unlock your aquatic potential with a 2 day course—whether you go with Molchanovs or AIDA—you’ll find your flow and ultimate comfort in the water. With small, intimate groups, you’ll get expert guidance every step of the way as you master techniques that’ll take you beyond what you thought possible.

NEED TO KNOW
Choose to do your AIDA or Molchanovs Freediving course.
AIDA 2: you will achieve a 2-minute breath hold, swim 40m in Dynamic with fins, and dive to 12m depth. You’ll be able to comfortably dive to depths of 20 metres. me
Molchanovs Wave 1: you will achieve 1:30 minutes static breath hold, 12-20 meter open water depth dives, 6-10 meter safety constant weight dive, rescue dive from 6-10 meters.
Before you take the plunge, here’s what you need to know: Must be 18+ years of age (or 16+ with consent), be able to swim 200-300m non-stop with a mask, fins, and snorkel, and complete the relevant medical form. Simple, right? Tick those boxes, and you’re all set to dive.
WHAT TO BRING
Diving gear is included in your booking. Diving Seychelles will be most comfortable with all your essentials including:
- Bathers, towel, reef safe sunscreen, sunglasses and hat
- Reusable water bottle
- We’ll take a 15min boat ride for our open water session – bring travel calm tablets if you’re prone to motion sickness
- There are nearby food stalls to buy lunch.
ITINERARY
Prepare for 2 full days of freediving at Beau Vallon from 8am to 4/5pm, with an hour lunch break.
THEORY: Learn the basics of freediving physics and physiology, breathing and relaxation for freediving, how to prevent blackouts and LMC, and rescue procedures for safe diving.
STATIC: Practice advanced breathing and relaxation techniques to extend your breath-hold times easily and safely in the water.
DYNAMIC: Master your diving techniques, body position, finning technique and perfect weighting for your dive.
OPEN WATER: We will progress your depth adaptation comfortably by mastering Frenzel equalization and fine-tuning your technique in Free Immersion and Constant Weight. You’ll perfect your duck dives and a streamlined body positioning and finning. Master safety and rescue procedures at the surface and from depth. Learn to use a lanyard and also freedive safely along the reef.

GETTING AROUND
Flying into Seychelles International Airport on Mahé, you’re a quick 15-minute drive to the island hub of Victoria. We operate from Beau Vallon, a stunning beach that lies 3km / 1.8mi west of here accessible by car, taxi, bike or bus.
