Elevate your freediving level with the PADI Advanced Freediver course, enabling dives to depths of 16 to 24 meters. This course builds upon foundational skills, emphasizing breath-holding capacity and the athletic aspects of freediving. Through advanced training, you’ll extend your limits for longer and deeper dives, creating a stronger connection with the underwater environment. Many participants progress from the basic to the advanced level, continuing their freediving journey. The two-day course involves theory study using the PADI e-learning, followed by practical sessions on the beach and aboard a boat.

This is a 2 day advanced freediving course with Elearning materials that will be made available to you in advance to ensure you get the most out of your time here.
Pre-requisite: this course is suitable for anyone who has completed their Level 1 of Freediving certification.
Free hire gear is available however, if your have your own please bring it with you for ultimate comfort – we’ll provide your weights.
Diving gear is included in your booking.
We provide free transportation from your hotel and back at the same location at the end of the day.
Prepare for 2 epic days of Advanced freediving from 9:00am to 4:30pm each day, with an hour lunch break. On the first day you will practice breathing techniques on land and in the pool. Your second day is out on the boat, practicing longer breath holds and diving deeper.
BREATHING AND RELAXATION: Optimal breathing techniques and learning how the breath alone can help you relax. Post-dive recovery breathing for safety.
CONFINED WATER SESSION: Static apnea training (practicing breath holding on the surface). Understanding, experiencing and finding comfort with contractions. Safety and buddy techniques.
OPEN WATER: We’ll take a boat ride from Bang Bao pier to Koh Rand national park or local sites with the HTMS wreck. We will progress your depth adaptation comfortably by learning equalization, duck diving, body positioning, finning style, Free Immersion (pulling with your hands along the rope) and Constant Weight (using your legs/fins to kick along the rope), safety and buddying.

If you want to see the highlights of the island including spots of the island you can buy tickets for a shared minibus tour at any tour agent when you are here. Or hire a motorbike/scooter to zip around.
The day of your activities, we’ll pick you up at your hotel and bring you back.
