NEED TO KNOW
No prior freediving experience is required, but you must be a confident swimmer in deep open water, comfortable with potential ocean surge—and, of course, excited to dive with whales NSW!
Note: This trip does not include formal freediving or depth training, but our freediving instructors will be in the water to offer tips and support as needed.

WHAT TO BRING
Please bring all of the travel essentials including:
- Your mask and snorkel, warm wetsuit, fins and weight belt
- We may be able to assist with some hire gear if required
- Reef safe sunscreen, sunglasses and hat – you know the drill
- Swimmers, towel, reusable water bottle, dry clothes
- Underwater camera if you wish
- Travel calm tablets if you’re prone to motion sickness
ITINERARY
We’ll be heading out on private whale diving charters at 8am on both Saturday and Sunday, guided by an expert dive guide and freediving instructor to ensure you feel confident in the water.
We’ll stay in a gorgeous beachside accommodation near Tweed Heads for two nights, with plenty of time to unwind and connect. Between dives, we’ll dive deeper—literally and figuratively—with breathwork and mindfulness workshops, plus yoga and sound healing sessions to help you feel refreshed and balanced.
And of course, we’ll capture every magical moment with professional underwater photography and videography. To top it all off, enjoy welcome snacks and a group dinner on Saturday as we share stories and soak up the experience together!
