YOUR ADVENTURE

Ready to swap gravity for gills? Your Bali Beginner Freediving Course isn’t just about holding your breath—it’s your VIP pass to the underwater world of Uluwatu.

A freediving course doesn’t train your muscles, it trains your mind to align with your bodies innate capabilities. Over two epic days, you’ll learn to dive up to 20m (65ft) deep. But this isn’t just about depth, or world famous dive sites; it’s about mastering control, moving effortlessly through the water, and feeling at home beneath the waves. Learn all the Molchanovs Beginner Freediving theory from a rooftop classroom with panoramic ocean views. Level-up your breath-holding skills and finning techniques in the massive saltwater pool. Ride a traditional Balinese fishing boat to our open water training spot at the foot of the world famous cliffs. After two days of diving Uluwatu, and completing all course requirements, you’ll be a certified Molchanovs Wave 1 Freediver.

Uluwatu’s diverse waters and stunning reef formations make it one of the best diving spots in Bali, whether you’re a total newbie or looking to refine your freediving skills. Some of the locals here include Dugongs, Mantas, Mola Mola (Sunfish), Spanish Mackerel. If you’re lucky you might see Dolphins, Whale Sharks or baby Humpbacks breaching on the surface. Freediving Bali is a comfy experience no matter the season, with warm waters in the mid-twenties (or up to 83°F) with the dry season from April to October. And where we dive, a 20 minute boat ride from shore, the visibility is usually around 20m (75ft).

Uluwatu is a year-round destination for surfers, yogis, and underwater adventurers, boasting a vibrant global community. It’s a hub of beachside cafés, restaurants, gyms, spas, beach clubs, iconic sunset spots, and endless activities. From fresh seafood feasts to smoothie bowls that look too good to eat, the food scene is just as diverse as the social life. Whether you’re catching live music, joining a yoga session, or swapping stories with fellow travelers over a coconut, there’s always something happening in this laid-back paradise.
