The best all inclusive Komodo Freediving Liveaboard adventure. Join us as we explore UNESCO World Heritage Site, Komodo National Park on our own private boat, island hopping and diving in some of the world’s most pristine and abundant dive sites. As a global conservation area, Komodo is home to unparalleled marine ecosystems and coral-rich blue waters framed by rugged hillsides, tropical forests and brilliant white (and pink!) sand beaches. Existing nowhere else in the world, it is also home to the largest living species of lizard – the Komodo Dragon. Komodo National Park offers some of the best diving in the world, as well as unique hiking experiences. 

Your Komodo Freediving Liveaboard is packed with incredible experiences whether you’re looking to begin your freediving journey or advance your skills, you’ll have the opportunity to complete your SSI Level 1 and/or Level 2 freediving courses. Enjoy three freediving sessions per day, including daily depth training and a mix of group and one-on-one coaching to help you progress.

Beyond freediving, you’ll explore uninhabited islands, go hiking, and even spot Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Each day also includes breathwork and stretching sessions to enhance relaxation and performance. Plus, you’ll receive professional photos and videos of your journey—so you can relive the adventure long after it’s over!

NEED TO KNOW

No freediving courses or experience are required to climb aboard your Komodo Freediving Liveaboard! Whether you’re a freediving guru or avid snorkeler, this trip is for you.

You do need to be a confident swimmer to join, as some dive sites are exposed to currents and there will be some super fun drift dives.

Flights and accommodation in Labuan Bajo (the night before we set sail) are not included.

WHAT TO BRING

• Any freediving gear you have (weightbelts and weights will be provided)
• A wetsuit or springsuit
• Swimwear
• Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
• Refillable water bottle
• Shoes for hiking

ITINERARY

We’ll meet the evening before our liveaboard departure at Seaesta Hotel for welcome drinks and dinner.

Day 1:

• 8:30am – Depart from Dermaga Kayu Kampung Ujung (Port at Labuan Bajo)
• Level 1 & 2 Freediving Theory
• 2 dive sites: Sebayur Kecil, Pengah Kecil
• Static Breath-holding session & Sunset at Kalong Island

Day 2:

• Hiking & Dragon Spotting
• Level 1 & 2 Theory/Problem solving
• 3 dive sites: Mawan, Siaba Kecil, Turtle City
• Evening: Mindfulness & relaxation techniques for freediving

Day 3:

• Morning Breathwork & Stretching Session
• 3 dive sites: Taka Makassar, Manta Point, Cauldron
• Hiking & Dragon Spotting
• Evening: Freediving & UW Photography Q&A

Day 4:

• Morning Breathing Gymnastics
• 3 dive sites: Komodo Corner, Crystal Bay, Bamboo Slope
• Evening: Freediving & UW Photography Q&A

Day 5:

• 3 dive sites: Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Bamboo Slope
• 1pm travel back to port for 4pm arrival at Dermaga Kayu Kampung Ujung
