We’ll be cruising with blue whales along the marine superhighway through Ombai and Wetar.  This is your chance to meet the largest animal to ever exist on planet Earth… Blue Whales, the gentle giants of the sea will glide with you in the open ocean! • All transfers during the trip are included. Each afternoon and evening, we will either walk or get taxis as a group for outings.

NEED TO KNOW

• This diving trip does not require you to have freediving experience, however you must be a confident and experienced snorkeller
• Accommodation: this booking is for one person in a shared twin room with ensuite. Book as an individual, or simply book for two if you are travelling as a pair and we’ll be sure to pair you together. Alternatively, contact us to upgrade to a private solo room for AUD +411.
• This trip does not include Freediving training or certification
• Bring your own flights and travel insurance.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring all of the travel essentials including:

• Reef safe sunscreen, sunglasses and hat – you know the drill
• Swimmers, towel, reusable water bottle, dry clothes
• Travel calm tablets if you’re prone to motion sickness
• Dive gear; alternatively available for hire
• Underwater camera if you wish

ITINERARY

Spend 7 days cruising this marine super highway, freediving with Blue Whales and many other whale species including beaked, humpback, sperm, killer, short-finned pilot, melon-headed whales and many dolphin species.

We will have 2 private boats to explore the waters with a whale guide, whale spotter and local captain on each boat. We have teamed up with one of the leading tour operators involved with the Marine Tourism Association of Timor Leste who are certified Responsible Whale Tour Operators. This trip is strictly limited to 10 guests.

We will also visit the world famous Atauro Island for a day of scuba diving and snorkeling with lots of epic photos. Opt-in to this expedition for an additional AUD 190 / USD 120.
