This 4-week Master Freediving Program will equip you with the tools and techniques for superior diving. Whether you want to prepare for your Instructor course or simply want to refine your skills, this 4-week internship is for you. Our intensive training programs are tailored to your individual progression, needs and goals. Any Freediver who has reached the level of an Advanced Freediver is welcome to join this program.

Requirements to achieve your Master Freediving Program requirements:
At the end of the program and course you will achieve a 3:30 minute breath hold, swim 70m/230ft in dynamic apnea and perform comfortable dives beyond 32m/105ft depth.

Prepare for 4 epic weeks of Freediving Costa Rica.
We’ll be heading out on the water in our fully equipped 32ft Boston Whaler or our 18ft Panga boat.
THEORY: develop an understanding of advanced physiological and mental implications and safety practices. Learn how to use attention deconcentration; a completely different mental approach to your dives.
DRY TRAINING: Equalization training and breathing, stretching and relaxation techniques.
STATIC: Practice breathing and relaxation techniques to extend your breath-hold times easily and safely from 3:30minutes and beyond.
DYNAMIC: Master your diving techniques, body position, turns, finning technique for distances of 70m/230ft and beyond.
OPEN WATER: We will progress your depth adaptation comfortably and fine-tune your skills and techniques to reach depths of 32m/105ft comfortably. Exploring Functional Residual Capacity (FRC) dives, packing, reverse packing, and Assistant Instructor protocols.

Tamarindo is a small beachside town accessible by car, taxi or shuttle. The international airports are Juan Santamaría (SJO) and Daniel Oduber Quirós (LIR). Flying into SJO, you’re a 4.5hr drive/shuttle away. Flying into LIR, you’re a 1.5hr drive away. Local airlines Nature Air and Sansa offer daily flights to/from Tamarindo from SJO and LIR.
