This Cenote Diving experience is the ultimate Freediving Training Camp! Join us for 9 days of specialised freediving training in the perfect conditions of the deepest Cenote in Tulum, Cenote Kaan Luum!

Be coached and guided by an expert team of professional and world-renown competitive freedivers ready to help you uplevel your skills in all aspects of freediving. Your main coach Matthieu Duvault, -95m, with guest coach Vitomir Maricic, -120m, will share their experiences and knowledge acquired through years of teaching and competitive freediving.

This Cenote Diving Training Camp will focus on freediving training progression of depth, equalization and overall freediving comfort.

NEED TO KNOW

REQUIREMENTS: All internationally certified freedivers, aged 18+ years, of all levels are welcome; you will be coached according to your level and comfort. If you are not yet certified, you have until September to train and develop your skills in and out of the water.

COACHING: Coaching will be provided in English. This camp is about refining and honing your skills, we will not be providing certifications.

ACCOMMODATION: The beach front, while beautiful, is not the most convenient location due to road congestion. Suggested accommodation within walking distance include:

WHAT TO BRING

Bring your own freediving gear and lanyard. Waters of 30C at the surface, and 26C below 10m. We’ll have a limited assortment of rental/purchase gear available. Molchanovs gear set rental costs 1500MXN / 130AUD for the duration.

Accommodation, meals and airport transfers are not included.

Diving insurance is required and as always, we recommend securing comprehensive travel insurance.

ITINERARY

This freediving training camp offers limited spaces for maximum enjoyment; secure your spot with a deposit (details below) and you’ll be provided with the Full Itinerary closer to the date. Once numbers are finalized, the group will connect and you’ll have the option to coordinate shared accommodation if you wish.

DAILY SCHEDULE: All diving and workshops will be held in Tulum. We’ll meet near Hotel Bardo in the mornings, then we’ll all be transported to our dive site in Kaan Luum Laguna. We’ll then enjoy lunch and afternoon workshops at Jungle Gym Pueblo where you’ll have access to the facilities and ice bath.

DAY 5: rest day with a surprise tourist activity on offer.

FINAL DAY: finishing in the early afternoon before heading out for a celebratory group dinner.

TRAVEL GUIDELINES

For international travel, please ensure you understand the latest restrictions, travel and health requirements for both directions of your journey by visiting relevant government and visa websites.

GETTING AROUND

Tulum is a fairly small town but we recommend to either stay close to Hotel Bardo, or consider renting a car, scooter or a bicycle to move around. You will need to organise your transportation to/from the airport (TQO or CUN) and to our daily meeting point.

Freedive Adventures offers 14-days free cancellation from the time of booking, with the exception of last-minute bookings. Accessing the ‘Equalization Base Training Program’ will result in the retail cost of this program being deducted from your free cancellation refund.
